enable checksum after creation (initdb)

Ubuntu 24.04 / postgres v16 with primary and secondary:

secondary: shut down the secondary

/usr/lib/postgresql/16/bin/pg_checksums -P -e -D /var/lib/postgresql/16/CLUSTER_NAME

primary: shut down the primary

/usr/lib/postgresql/16/bin/pg_checksums -P -e -D /var/lib/postgresql/16/CLUSTER_NAME

Start the primary Start the secondary

Check if checksum is enabled on both:

show data_checksums;
